Return Policy
Returns will be authorized for a period of 60 days following
receipt of merchandise. For shipping instructions, credit,
or replacement, call Ames Customer Service Department, Monday
through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time
at 1-800-343-2040. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
The following policies apply (except in cases of defective
materials or workmanship):
- Customized and made-to-order items are not returnable.
- Approved returns of stock items are subject to a 20% restocking
charge (not to exceed $200.00).
